Prospector was born out of frustration. Our founders, like millions of others, were tired of finishing a purchase only to find a coupon code that could have saved them 20%. Or discovering the same product was $50 cheaper at another store. Or worse - falling victim to a sophisticated phishing site that looked exactly like their favorite retailer.
We realized that shopping online had become a minefield. Deals were scattered across hundreds of sites, scammers were getting smarter, and the average person simply didn't have time to become a professional bargain hunter.
